Hey bad babe! I'm Avi Celeste, Owner and Lead Artist of Bad Gal Beauty!

I have been a makeup artist for 9 years and am known for my signature "glitter glam" looks. Glitter is my favorite color! I specialize in traditional makeup application and also offer airbrush services at my studio in Hartford, CT!

Makeup was my first love. I remember asking Santa for a makeup set for Christmas when I was just 4 years old. I was the little girl always getting into mommy's makeup and doing homemade face masks in the bathroom with my friends (hint--dirt and water is NOT a mud mask)! I quickly became obsessed with all the fun colors and products that makeup had to offer. 

 

In 2014 I started my makeup career at Sephora and have been freelancing ever since! After working for other makeup artists part time for many years I decided in 2019 it was time to finally venture out on my own, and Bad Gal Beauty, LLC was born! After working for other companies I knew I wanted to give my clients something different, and something easy. I wanted my clients to have the best experience with me, from consult to setting spray! This journey was not easy--but after a few years in business I decided in 2023 to switch to an all-inclusive pricing model to take away the confusion and stress of payment (especially for my brides!). The only thing you need to worry about is being on time for your appointment! I personally work with every client to ensure you're getting the highest level of service. I also decided that I would have a team of fairly paid co-artists, not assistants. By personally vetting each artist that works with me I have curated an amazing team who is just as dedicated to your experience as I am!  And I never double book, so when you hire Bad Gal Beauty, you're hiring me!

 

When I'm not glamming bad babes like yourself, I can be found snuggling my dog or laying in my hammock. I love reading a good book, or spending time outside--especially kayaking!
